16 APRIL 2026 // POMEROY, WA // -- Mary Dye announced her 2026 campaign to continue service in the Washington State House of Representatives, District 9.
Representative Dye states,
“More than ever, I am inspired and dedicated to serve the people of Southeastern Washington. My favorite part of public service is getting out in our many counties, communities and neighborhoods, listening and learning about the issues that affect our friends and neighbors.”
Rep. Dye lists the following as critical priorities to Southwest Washington citizens:
• Reforming our energy policies to bring prices down on our utility bills and at the pump,
• Aligning our hydropower system to take advantage of our tremendous resource,
• Restoring hope and opportunity to our communities through infrastructure investments and family-wage job creation and education.
Rep. Dye continues,
“Our rural economic ecosystem is fragile and intensely interdependent. When one aspect of our society is stressed through over taxation and overregulation, we suffer the consequences in our schools, healthcare systems, and small businesses.”
Rep. Dye concludes,
“Washington’s Southeast citizens are united and strong in our values of self-determination, ingenuity and dedication to the preservation and production of our bountiful natural resources including our people. My goal continues to be to serve the whole of our communities.”
