Piping Progress & Feeding Families - for the Next 250 Years

On this 250th celebration of our nation’s Independence, I am pleased to share two recent endorsements that mean so much to me.
The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry (UA Local 598 ) is a community, family based organization. Members and contractors are very proud of the communities we live and work in. Involvement is a core principal of our organization. Our involvement include teaching, coaching, reserve firefighters, police, and active reserve military. The membership of Local Union 598 strives to improve the quality of life for our families and communities.
Contractors and Members of Local Union 598 take pride and ownership of every project in being the "best of the best" within our respective industries. Local Union 598 dedicates over 2.5 million dollars a year for training. Our members receive the training to be the most productive and highly skilled craftsmen within the industry. With our motto "We Do it Right the First Time", clients can be assured that our contractors and members will deliver a safe, quality project, on schedule and under budget.
The Washington Farm Bureau works for families, protecting the farms and ranches that provide food, fuel, and fiber. They endeavor to strengthen the future of our communities by strengthening the future of agriculture. I was so honored to be named the 2024 Washington Farm Bureau Legislator of the year. “To be recognized in this industry, by my fellow sojourners, those who love and live the land, following her leading to truths revealed through perpetual surprises, the land whose fickle seasons meld and hone our characters into to forged steel.”
As I reflect on our 250th celebration of our Independence, I am grateful for our forefathers and the forethought that established the most poignant document in human history, except for the Bible. I believe that our Declaration of Independence was divinely inspired.

I fully believe that the work of the men and women and the mission of the IBEW Local 77 and the Washington Farm Bureau should be celebrated along with so many Americans who protect our families, toil in the soil, create and inspire innovation and our next 250 years of the “Great Experiment” that is America.
America IS Great. And we are no longer an “experiment.” As a nation, we have proved that freedom is the ultimate God-given agency.
Whether the single Mom working in a call center, the night shift nurse at a rural emergency hospital, the small business owner, the small town teacher who tutors students for free after hours, the volunteer youth baseball coach, and the third generation family farmers - we all work for our families and a future that continues the promise of America.
